About

Three years in the water at four South Florida ports

CLG Marine Solutions is a commercial diving outfit based in Fort Lauderdale. We work in the water, alongside vessels that are still working, and we keep the job small enough that the person you speak to on the phone is the person who shows up.

How a dive runs

The safety part of this job is procedure, not equipment. It is the same every time, on every vessel, whether anyone is watching or not.

Nobody dives alone

Every dive has a topside attendant on the surface for its whole duration. That is the person who knows where the diver is and gets them out if something changes.

The job is briefed before anyone gets wet

What we are doing, where the hazards are, what the vessel is doing, and what happens if we need to stop. It takes a few minutes and it is why the few minutes exist.

Engines and intakes are confirmed shut down

We do not enter the water until propulsion, thrusters and intakes are confirmed secured with whoever is running the vessel. This is the one thing we will hold up a job over.

You get told what we found

Photographs or video of anything worth seeing, and a straight account of the condition, including the parts you were not expecting.

What we bring to the berth

Enough to work without borrowing anything from you, and without becoming part of your day.

Our own gear and air

Dive equipment, hull cleaning tools and underwater camera. We arrive ready and we clear the berth when we are done.

Port access already sorted

TWIC clearance means terminal access is our problem, not something your operations team has to arrange around us.

A vessel that stays in the water

Almost everything we do happens alongside. No haul-out, no yard booking, no time out of service.

Certifications

TWIC cleared
Transportation Worker Identification Credential, so port access is not a scheduling problem.
Commercial dive certified
Working divers trained for in-water commercial work, not recreational diving.

Talk to the person doing the work

Call between 7:00 and 19:00. Tell us the vessel, the berth and what you think is going on, and we will tell you honestly whether it is a job for us.
